Founded in 1946 as Tokyo Shokuhin Co., Ltd., and later renamed Toshoku Co., Ltd., we have long provided food-related solutions to customers in Japan and around the world, leveraging the expertise, knowledge, and network cultivated over many decades.

After joining the Cargill Group, we continued to expand our business from a more global perspective under the name Cargill Toshoku. In 2025, we restructured to become the Food Solutions Japan & Korea Food Ingredients Business, integrating with Cargill’s in-house manufacturing businesses for functional and cocoa & chocolate ingredients. This organizational integration has strengthened our foundation—combining our accumulated capabilities with Cargill’s extensive product portfolio and a global network of highly specialized and trusted suppliers. As a result, we are now better positioned to deliver safe, high-quality products with greater stability and reliability.

Our customers span a wide range of categories, including Indulgence (confectionery and sweets), Convenience (processed and frozen foods), Beverages, and Food Service (restaurants, ready-to-eat meals, wholesalers, and retailers).
