Sweeteners

Sweetness is universally associated with pleasure and enjoyment. Tasting sweetness is a sure-fire trigger for feelings of pleasure and contentment. Traditional sweetness ingredients, packed with fast-acting food energy, are still in high demand and valued in a wide range of products. However, modern consumers are increasingly looking for food concepts that reflect healthier choices in the quantity of energy consumed, and the effects of ingredients on different parts of the body, from teeth to metabolism.

At Cargill, our goal is to broadening the range of food energy options open to manufacturers and consumers while delivering on emotional expectations of sweetness and taste.

Dextrose

If ever a sweetener could be considered ubiquitous, it would be dextrose.
